Removing All Photos & Shutting Down
When I started this blog, it was just to share other Karima facts, photos, and projects with other fans. She is one of my favorite Lara ladies and models in general, and I thought starting a “Fuck Yeah” Tumblr would be a fun way to connect with other fans and share her work.
However, the stresses from running this blog are simply not worth it. I’ve dealt with personal threats and harassment for having this blog. Furthermore, unfortunately, and without knowledge, this blog is essentially a gigantic copyright infringement. I always took measures to ensure that photographers and sources were credited, but it’s come to my attention that is not enough.
I apologize greatly to the photographers who may have been inconvenienced by having their work displayed here. I understand ignorance is not an excuse, but doing such was never my intention. As an artist, I certainly do not ever want to be a part of the problem when it comes to artist rights and protection of creative property.
Some links, text posts, and photos reblogged from photographers on Tumblr will remain. Everything else, however, will be removed, and I don’t see myself updating this blog in the future.
Best wishes to all!
Hi do u have facebook page for this?
I don’t. There are already a few fan pages for Karima, and it seems a little redundant for me to post in two places.
Maybe you or some other fans could get a more active, comprehensive Facebook page going?
Hi there, Can you please email me the facebook address you have of Karima Adebibe. I need to contact her, please.

Anonymous
I can’t email you anything if you’re anonymous. Also, as I said in the contact info, I don’t have any ways of getting in touch with her.
Search for her on Facebook, and her page will pop up, but I think requests and messages are blocked if you don’t know her.
EDIT - I double checked, and you can send her friend requests and messages. Whether she responds is another story.
Fun question!
As with most people, I became familiar with Karima through Tomb Raider. I was introduced to her as Lara, and I actually wasn’t a huge fan right off the bat—I immediately thought she was gorgeous, but as far as her initial Lara portrayal went, I felt like she was missing some of the fierceness that I wanted Lara to have.
But the more I saw and learned of her, the more I liked Karima. I’m a bit enamored with her physically (she’s my artistic muse), and I really liked her personality in interviews. She has a little bit of sass, which I love—I thought it was awesome when she corrected a reporter who called her “Laura Croft.” And her knowledge of languages, to me, is amazing and super sexy.
She’s beautiful and smart—Why not Karima?

LOVE this one. <333 So gorgeous!
You know what? Everyone has an opinion. I was chosen for the part by the people who created her so that’s the biggest achievement, I think.
